Some of the works fo the Italian painter Giovanni Boldini, will be displayed at Palazzo Dei Diamanti, in Ferrara, until 2 June 2019. The exhibition explores in particular the relationship between the artist and the world of fashion. In fact, Boldini, who moved to Paris in 1872, developed a very personal style in which fashion plays a fundamental role. Thanks to his skill in drawing and his careful research for color, he managed to exalt both the silhouettes of the models and the lines of their clothes, immortalizing this way the elegance and hedonism of the Belle Epoque.
